How is this different from a chatbot?
Traditional chatbots use scripted flows and decision trees. Fan Companion uses AI that understands natural language, maintains context across a conversation, and responds in a conversational tone that feels like talking to a real person — not clicking through menus. It also collects intelligence from every conversation, which a standard chatbot doesn't do.
How long does it take to deploy?
A fully branded, production-ready Fan Companion can be live on your website in as little as two weeks. The process covers knowledge base creation, AI training, quality assurance, and brand-aligned deployment.
What do I need to provide?
We handle the heavy lifting. All we need from you is access to your existing content — brand guidelines, event information, athlete/player data, sponsor details, and FAQs. This can be shared as documents, links, or a shared drive. We structure everything into the knowledge base.
How does the AI know what to say?
Fan Companion only responds using a curated, approved knowledge base built from your content. It does not browse the internet or make things up. If a fan asks something not covered in the knowledge base, the AI acknowledges the gap and directs them appropriately — that gap is then logged as intelligence for your team.
Can the AI respond in multiple languages?
Yes. Fan Companion can detect and respond in the language the fan writes in. This is particularly valuable for international events and championships that span multiple countries and language markets.
What data do you collect from fans?
We log the text of conversations for analytics purposes. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information unless a fan voluntarily provides it. IP addresses are hashed and anonymised. See our

How does sponsor tracking work?
When the AI mentions a sponsor naturally in a conversation, that mention is logged and tracked. The dashboard shows you which sponsors are being mentioned, how often, and in what context. This creates measurable digital exposure data you can share with partners.
What is the Fan Intelligence Dashboard?
A password-protected, real-time reporting dashboard that shows total fan queries, trending topics, content gaps (questions the AI couldn't answer), sponsor mention tracking, and AI-generated recommendations. Available in daily, weekly, and monthly views. Exportable as PDF reports.
Can I update the knowledge base myself?
Yes. The dashboard includes a content gap management feature. When the AI can't answer a question, it appears as a content gap. You can add the answer directly from the dashboard and it goes live immediately. For larger updates, our team handles knowledge base revisions as part of the service.
How does it integrate with my website?
One line of code. You add a script tag to your website, and the Fan Companion widget appears. It runs in a sandboxed container so it won't interfere with your existing site design or functionality. No backend changes or CMS modifications required.
Can it be hosted on our servers?
Yes. For organisations with specific data residency or compliance requirements, the entire platform can be deployed on your own infrastructure. We handle the setup and provide ongoing remote maintenance.
